Terms of Service

AltWrightr is listed on the Webflow Marketplace and integrates with the Webflow platform. Your use of Webflow is also subject to Webflow's own terms, including the Webflow Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Webflow's platform terms as they apply to your use of Webflow itself, Webflow's terms govern your relationship with Webflow.

1. Service description

AltWrightr provides alt text scanning and update functionality for Webflow sites. Depending on how you use the app, it may help you find and update missing or inadequate alt text across:

• Asset library images
• CMS collection image fields
• Images embedded in Rich Text fields

AltWrightr includes a Designer Extension panel inside the Webflow Designer and a backend that uses the Webflow Data API for scanning, suggestion drafts, and applying approved alt text updates. The service requires OAuth authorization to access your Webflow sites through the official Webflow APIs with the scopes you approve during installation.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of AltWrightr at any time. We strive to maintain reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

2. Eligibility and authorization

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have a valid Webflow account to use AltWrightr. You represent that you have the authority to connect AltWrightr to any Webflow workspace or site you authorize, and that you have permission to modify the content on those sites.

If you use AltWrightr on behalf of a company, organization, or client, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms and that you will ensure anyone using AltWrightr under your account complies with these Terms.

3. Account connection and OAuth

AltWrightr connects to your Webflow account through OAuth. When you authorize the app, you grant AltWrightr permission to access the Webflow site data and perform the actions permitted by the OAuth scopes you approve (including reading authorized user identity for Hybrid authentication, reading and writing assets, and reading and writing CMS content). You may revoke this access at any time by disconnecting AltWrightr from your Webflow workspace or uninstalling the app.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Webflow account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your authorized connection. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or authorization has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AltWrightr to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Harm, disrupt, or compromise the security or integrity of Webflow, AltWrightr, or any user's projects
• Upload, distribute, or modify malicious, deceptive, or objectionable content
• Attempt to circumvent OAuth, API limits, or Webflow's platform safeguards
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse AltWrightr except as permitted by applicable law
• Use AltWrightr in a way that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, or created risk for other users or for Webflow.

5. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of your Webflow site content. AltWrightr processes and may modify your site content only at your direction when you initiate scan or apply actions.

When using AltWrightr, you are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing all suggestions and previewing changes before applying alt text updates
• Verifying that alt text is accurate, appropriate, and legally permitted
• Maintaining backups of important content where appropriate
• Ensuring changes comply with your contractual obligations, client approvals, and applicable laws
• Understanding which content types are editable through the Designer Extension vs. the Data API backend

6. Content modifications and disclaimers

AltWrightr modifies alt text on your Webflow sites only when you confirm an apply action. Bulk updates can affect many assets or CMS items at once. You acknowledge that automated or large-scale changes carry inherent risk, including unintended edits or accessibility impacts from inaccurate alt text.

AltWrightr creates suggestion drafts from image filenames, asset names, and available CMS context. These suggestions may be inaccurate or incomplete for your context. AltWrightr does not guarantee WCAG compliance or legal accessibility outcomes. You should not rely on suggestions without review.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appsrow is not liable for unintended changes, data loss, publishing errors, downtime, lost revenue, or other damages resulting from alt text updates you authorize or from your failure to review changes before applying them.

7. Intellectual property

AltWrightr, including its software, branding, documentation, and user interface, is owned by Appsrow and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in AltWrightr. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AltWrightr solely as intended through the Webflow Marketplace and authorized Webflow integrations.

Your Webflow site content, trademarks, and other materials remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your site content and use it only as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Fees and payment

AltWrightr is currently offered without charge unless otherwise stated in the Webflow Marketplace listing or within the app. If we introduce paid plans, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future, we will provide clear pricing and billing terms before you are charged. Any such fees would be in addition to your existing Webflow subscription costs.

9. Third-party services

AltWrightr relies on the Webflow platform and official Webflow APIs. We are not responsible for Webflow's availability, API changes, rate limits, outages, or policy enforcement. Your relationship with Webflow is governed by Webflow's terms and policies.

AltWrightr may link to third-party websites such as Appsrow.com for support or company information. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using AltWrightr, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

AltWrightr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AltWrightr will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or that all missing alt text will be found or all updates will succeed.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Appsrow and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of AltWrightr, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to AltWrightr or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Appsrow for AltWrightr in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). If AltWrightr is provided free of charge, our total liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Appsrow and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of AltWrightr; (b) your site content or changes you authorize through AltWrightr; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using AltWrightr at any time by disconnecting or uninstalling the app from your Webflow workspace. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if Webflow removes or restricts the app, or if we discontinue the service.

Upon termination, your right to use AltWrightr ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law - will continue to apply.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of AltWrightr after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using AltWrightr and disconnect the app.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Appsrow's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or AltWrightr shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

17. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Appsrow regarding AltWrightr.
